Message	rubber bits. If they weren't crumbling, they were compressed. Very seldom have been all of the rubber suspension bits been "as good as" new. You're offering advice to "get away with" when there are far better answers to the OP's question. If he'd asked "hey what can I get away with - I have no money", then your answer would have been somewhat valid. As it is, he's got no reason to skimp on these parts given his stated budget.
